BDSM 5.11 – Predicament Bondage

Predicament bondage is the art of restraining a person by bondage in such a way that there is a limited number of positions, each of which are so uncomfortable that they are forced to shift their weight or position. Upon doing so, they place themselves in yet another equally uncomfortable position. This type of bondage is used in BDSM and power exchange play.

Typical predicament bondage examples:

  • Causing muscle fatigue, such as standing on tiptoe (e.g. by tying their hands, breasts or hair to an upper point), which forces the subject to choose a more physically painful position, for example letting themselves lower their weight and stand regularly while forcing a rope attached to their genitals to pull taut and cause pain.
  • When a subject is tied in such a position so that remaining still will not cause any discomfort, but moving their body will pull on ropes, weights or other devices meant to cause them pain.
  • The subject could be tickled, sexually pleasured or otherwise enticed to move uncontrollably in their predicament.
  • Forcing the subject to a hunched position by tying their genitals or thighs to a lower point; both of which will become uncomfortable in a brief time – but they are faced with pain if they try to fix their posture.

Safety First!

There can be safety issues with predicament bondage.

Consider the predicament itself, and have a quick release option should the captive faint or become too weak to support themselves.

Do’s

  • Have your safeword(s) agreed upon prior to starting
  • Bind in such a way that no serious harm will come of them should they pass out, slip etc
  • Most standing bondage is done with arms tied to ceiling hooks
    • this allows your lover to hang/stretch should they faint, become tired etc, vs falling over and chocking or seriously hurting themselves
  • First aid kit
  • Keep an eye out for circulation concerns – color change, swelling or loss of sensation are just a few
  • Keep ‘quick release’ tools, such as scissors and cock ring cutters, handy
  • Keep water nearby for your bonded lover

Don’ts

  • Leave your lover alone
  • Tie up in such a manner that they fall forward or backward and cause serious harm
  • Unbind in an illogical order,( ie remove the arms from the ceiling bind and try to slowly let them down, if their nipples are still tied/bound (could cause serious damage or rip off the nipple)

Share some of your predicament positions!!!!!!

BDSM – Part 5.2 CBT

CBT – Cock and Ball Torture

Is a BDSM activity where the torture of the male genitals takes place.

Activities may include:

  • Wax Play – Warm or hot wax usually dripped from candles or ladled onto the genital area
  • Genital Spanking – Spanking the genital area and penis
  • Squeezing – Should be self explanatory
  • Ball-Busting – Consists of testicles kicked, kneed, punched or squeezed
  • Genital Flogging – Use of a flogger on the genital area
  • Tickle Torture – To touch or stroke lightly with the fingers, a feather, or other item – to excite a tingling or itching sensation
  • Erotic Electrostimulation –  This involves applying electrical stimulation to the nerves of the body, in this article the emphasis is on the genitals
  • Kicking – Involves kicking the genital area

Equipment may include:

  • Ball Crusher – A device made from either metal or clear acrylic which causes the testicles to be slowly crushed by turning a nut or screw
  • Ball Stretcher –  Is a sex toy that is fastened around genital area to elongate the scrotum and provide a feeling of pulling the testicles away from the body
  • Humbler – A testicle cuff device that clamps around the base of the scrotum, mounted in the center of a bar that passes behind the thighs at the base of the buttocks
  • Parachute – A small collar, which fastens around the scrotum, and which weights can be hung from
  • Testicle Cuffs – a ring-shaped device placed around the scrotum between the body and the testicles that when closed it does not allow the testicles to pass through it

Safety First!

Always discuss in detail with your lover/partner what will be done, have a safeword(s) or clear way to communicate stopping or slowing down (ie using the color red = stop, yellow = slow down or humming a particular song)

One of the biggest concerns with CBT is circulation. Increased pressure = danger of cutting off circulation.

Keep a close eye out for symptoms such as:

  • Loss in sensation
  • Swelling
  • Change or loss of color

Do’s:

  • Trim pubic hair for a clear view and to avoid snagging
  • Alleviate pressure every 20-30 minutes to restore circulation fully
  • Avoid genital bindings that cannot be easily untied/removed
  • Keep ‘quick release’ tools, such as scissors and cock ring cutters, handy
  • Go slowly, gradually increasing intensity
  • Avoid any practices that seriously wrench or twist the genitals

Don’t(s):

  • Leave clamps on for long periods of time
  • Leave CBT devices or weights on for prolonged periods or through the night
  • Let go of weights suddenly, lower them down gradually and gently
  • Tie the balls to anything. A sudden knee-jerk reaction could result in serious damage
  • Bind the penis/scrotum too tightly – you don’t want to cut off circulation
  • Squeeze the penis too hard, it could damage the erectile tissue
  • Use sharp, hard hits
